On Memorial Day of 2013 I had a miscarriage. I was 12 weeks along, and we were all sad and confused. Josiah and Promise were so overjoyed with the prospect of having a new baby sibling, and then for months after were still processing the sadness and confusion. We talked a lot about heaven and how God still loves us and they gained more knowledge of who God is, and how He is always taking care of His children.
During the next year, I kept turning to Jesus in my pain and questions. I know He is always blessing us, so I focused on being thankful for the little things and holding on to His promises to us. To me.
“You will again obey the Lord and follow all His commands…Then, the Lord your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb,…The Lord will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as He delighted in your fathers.”
Dueteronomy 30:8-9
This verse was one of the many that I have clung to while waiting and listening to the Holy Spirit.
I am here today to say that God is faithful to all His promises and to you, because He cares about you!
